Dajjal Persona had a great stage presence.
Lighting: Lighting at the Soma’s side stage is painful but not as bad some venues. The lights are constantly changing and it doesnt help when the band does not stay still.
Gear: I shot with my Nikon D300 as well as my nifty 50 1.8 and cheap 18-55. I dont mind shooting with the cheap lenses when there is not an allocated photographer area. I set my Auto ISO to shoot between 200-6400. I prefer the D300s image in black and white when shooting at 6400.

I shot a series of six bands in one night. I will start with 25th Hour.

Of Hearts set up light boxes which they stood on. They also used smoke machines which in some images gave them the epic rocker look. The guitarist was the biggest attention hog

Name was by far the best band of the night. The only band that went off the stage. They also were the only ones to actually get electrocuted. Pretty amazing and super humble.

Another fast paced band with the opposite of good lighting.
