I arrived in the afternoon at Penn Station at 34th street. By this point I had all but conquered the trains, but now something new challenged me: The subway.

At first, I stood in the station for more than a little while scratching my head in confusion. I asked a few people what to do and they helpfully pointed me in the right direction. Pretty much all of the subway system smelled like urine and looked as though they were just short of finishing construction. There were cables hanging everywhere and the thought that crossed my mind was, “What would happen if I would snip the blue wire … maybe the red one?”

So once again. I did not edit my trip images. I was (and still overwhelmed) by the response to the San Diego Sunset HDR post. I decided to go out and shoot again.

I do not use photoshop. I honestly hate all adobe products. I have not used it in almost 4 years or so now. Anyways… please enjoy

I spent the nights staring.

I sung loudly in the streets.

I spent time being me.

I let it all out.

I loved every minute.

Philadelphia is such a proud city. I could tell all the owners of the shops were happy to serve such a unique community. Red and blue lights lit up buildings to show off Philles colors and everywhere you looked were red caps. I walked out of the station in Philly and headed down Market Street. (more…)
