I recently went on a shopping spree. First the NIkon 16-35mm f/4 VR and now the Nikon 70-300mm VR. I took the lens with me to the local laundry mat and took a few pictures.
I am happy this lens arrived on my doorstop this morning. Its a very quick lens that I will have with me for a long time.
(all images were simply stamped with the toy camera effect in Aperture 3, nothing else)
What a miserable gray last night was. I decided to shoot anyways. I had a blast :)
I have barely shot with the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 before and rarely use it. I am really just not a big fan of it. All the images above were shot with it, all handheld at insane ISOs. I always shoot with primes (fixed focal length lenses) and the sharpness just does not compare. I am considering purchasing the Nikon 16-35mm f/4 VR but I will have to get some more opinions on the lens vs wide primes.
