So I am back from my trip quite early but I did have a few solid days to test my new Nikon D800 in the wild. I recorded some footage on the trip and I now present a sample of it now for you. For those people who know things the video is shot and no editing has been done to it besides cutting and exporting from Final Cut Pro X. It took me about an hour to wrap the few days worth of footage into a 4 minute story. The Las Vegas portion isn't nearly as good as the second half, just not enough footage taken in LV, so please judge after you have seen the entire video :). I hope you like the video and please let me know if you have any questions / compliments!
Please Watch in 1080P! I'm working on a Vimeo version...

I met a man last night who played suitcase guitar. We chatted for a bit and I hope to see him again soon.
Something I have had trouble with as a photographer is approaching interesting people that I meet and asking for a photograph. I am working on this and since I am getting into video it's a must.
Shot with the Panasonic GH2 with the 14-42 kit lens. ISO values were set from 1600 - 32oo most of the night. All shots were shot on a tripod.
