Roll 14 -Mamiya RB67 - Fuji Reala 100

I just wanted to take a quick second and share a couple thoughts about the last image here. This ladies and gents is a cauldron full of magic. Keep in mind that I am a bit (a lot) more sensitive than most.... but... anyways... a couple in love, warm colors, and created on a machine that is full manual. This kind of image is so rewarding and it's just so hard to describe. I have found a love in film that I never knew existed before.

Thank you Cary and Justin for being so patient with me while I held an intimidating beast of a camera.

Film Roll 12 – Yashica Electro 35 GS – Kodak Ektar 100

I have heard a lot about Kodak Ektar and I am now a fan. Usually pointing the camera into the sun isn't a good test but in this case the ektar produced some good images. I also shot a roll with the Mamiya so we shall see if that outperforms this or gets similar results.
I know I shot quite a bit of this fence but I just couldn't leave.

Steve,

I have never met you but I have served several people below you for years. You have to be someone great for us all to feel so strongly for someone we have never met. These devices you created helped bring out my creativity. Who knows if 6+ years ago you never made a "enhance" button in iPhoto I probably wouldn't be writing you on here. I don't know where I would have been without that. I wouldn't have traveled, I would have never taken the risks that I take today to do something that I love so much. You helped my discover my love for photography, you enhanced my love for music....hell you made a lot of people even think they are photographers with iPhones and instagram. All joking aside I really wish I would have walked up to you and gave you a big hug. This of course would have gotten me fired but all in all I think it would have been worth it.

Apple has changed me. For those of you who know me now but not 6 years ago would agree. I have grown from the quiet shy person I used to be to a person who is outgoing with an opinion. You taught me to think different and as cheesy as it sounds its true. I voice my opinion and I question the things that people don't question. Oh Steve, I sure have grown.

I don't think you ever knew how many people truly loved you. I hope you are in a better place now and smiling down on us.

Film Roll 11 – Yashica Electro 35 GS – Memories 200

Here are the first viewable images from my much talked about, hyped and shown off Yashica Electro 35 GS. This camera is flashy and brilliant to use. Considering that the camera cost me $25 and the film cost me 99 cents I am pretty happy with the results.

I spent the other day cruising through Julian listening to the new Feist album and I feel that these images matched the mood perfectly. Clouds lingered all day resting above a cold breeze, needless to say I was in my own little heaven.

I hope to have my own scanner soon so that I can control the look of the images. I am still staying true to the fresh off the scanner look of the images. These are developed and scanned by Costco. I got a membership just so I can try out their scans and so far they have great scans for CVS prices...
