Joshua Tree Day 2: Part 1

Just outside of camp, I love the fog.

Cooking breakfast and coffee.

HDR of the rocks right next to camp. One of few times we saw the sky.

Driving to the trailhead.

Fog running off of the mountains. "Peter, why aren't you getting this photo?"

Mikey still wearing the Mickey pancho (note the knife).

Elizabeth and Chuck chatting about their packs.

Finally onto the hike.

Mickey made the best leader.

Hiking through the fog, Mikey is still holding his knife for some reason...

We could imagine what was on the other side of the fog.

Psst... they are recently engaged!

Just beautiful... Almost worth the pain in the arse hills coming up...

Joshua Tree Day 1

Mikey accepted the challenge of wearing the Mickey Mouse pancho for 48 hours straight.

Mikey snoring like a bear.

Parked and set up camp.

Rain was coming down just hard enough to make things difficult.

REI, let me know when you need commercial work done. :)
